About me
Hello! I'm a non binary writer, composer and theatre maker based in London.
I'm the artistic director of the award-winning GOYA theatre company, which makes queer music theatre. In 2023 I was named one of The Stage's Fringe Five and in 2024 was given the August O'Neill Award by the JMK.
As a writer, I am currently writing commissions for Bob Benton/The Sherman Theatre, for Elpis Productions and for the Royal Opera House. My work has been supported by Goodspeed Musical and Rhinebeck Writers in the US and by the Hawthornden Foundation in the UK.
I have worked as an assistant/associate director at venues including Theatre Royal Bath, 59E59, Soho Theatre, Jermyn Street Theatre, The Oxford Playhouse and The Savoy Theatre. I was the resident assistant director at The Orange Tree Theatre and I have an MFA in theatre directing from Birkbeck College London.
